Herzog 麻豆视频 Launches 2025 Bill of Rights Essay Contest for Middle and High School Students
The Herzog 麻豆视频 is excited to announce the launch of its fourth annual Bill of Rights essay contest, inviting middle and high school students enrolled in Christian schools or homeschools to participate. This year, essays will be accepted until November 21, with winners announced on December 15, coinciding with Bill of Rights Day.
鈥淭he Bill of Rights has been a cornerstone of American liberty for over 230 years, serving as a vital framework for our rights and freedoms,鈥 said Herzog 麻豆视频 Chairman Todd Graves. 鈥淎s we approach the United States Semiquincentennial in 2026, it鈥檚 more important than ever that young Americans grasp the historical significance and ongoing relevance of our foundational documents.鈥
Students are invited to respond to the prompt: 鈥淲hat made the Bill of Rights revolutionary and unique at the time of its ratification? How has it shaped the United States and its citizens over the years?鈥
The contest will recognize one winner in each category: middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12). Each winner, along with their school, will receive a $300 award from the Herzog 麻豆视频, with additional recognition for a select number of runners-up, who will receive awards of $150.
鈥淣ow, more than ever, we must instill a sense of civic responsibility and appreciation for American values in the next generation,鈥 emphasized Herzog 麻豆视频 President Darrell Jones. 鈥淚t鈥檚 essential for families and educators to engage with our nation鈥檚 founding documents. The Herzog 麻豆视频 aims to honor students and schools that not only understand but actively celebrate our fundamental American beliefs.鈥
